The rhythm game your overthinking brain has been looking for

A rhythm reaction game for the in-between moments. The 11pm scroll. The packed train platform. The gap where you’re too wired to sleep and too tired to think.

You already do this to switch off. Beat Stops turns it into a game.

You put on lo-fi beats to study. You re-watch the same TV show. You tap your fingers on the desk in a pattern you didn’t choose. Your brain looks for loops when it can’t find quiet. Beat Stops was built around that principle

Warm, layered music plays while characters circle a ring of stumps.

The beat builds, then stops. You tap to claim the nearest stump.

Each round, a stump disappears. Last player standing wins.

The loop resets. You go again. And again.

What the game feels like

Think musical chairs, but on your phone, set to a deep rhythm, with you reflexes on the line.

The music is adaptive.

Soundscapes shift and evolve as rounds progress, pulling you deeper without you noticing.

The mechanic is one action. Tap.

That’s the entire input. Simple enough to feel automatic, precise enough to demand your attention.

The visuals match the frequency.

Every character, colour and animation is tuned to draw overstimulated minds into flow rather than further from it.

Repetitive for the mind. Reactive for the reflexes. The kind of game you reach for rather than decide to play.

And if your brain wants a reason to keep going

Every win extends your streak, and every streak climbs a live leaderboard. The player holding the longest consecutive streak at the end of each month wins a £100 Amazon voucher.

The monthly winner also co-creates the next Beat Stops track with our composer — your rhythm, your culture, played by everyone..

The competition resets monthly, and the community tracking it all lives inside Discord. Enter by registering your player name in Discord first.

Players share feedback, celebrate calm wins and keep the loop going together.

You're early. That matters here.

Beat Stops is in beta. The game is live, the competition is running, and the community is still small enough that everyone in it is shaping what comes next.

What’s already on the roadmap:

New characters and unlockable worlds

Deeper mechanics that build on the core loop

Multiplayer and team-based modes

Co-create rhythms played in the game

Monthly leaderboard winners help shape the next Beat Stops track.

YOUR RHYTHM. YOUR CULTURE. PLAYED BY EVERYONE.

The people playing now are the ones whose feedback is steering the direction. This is the ground floor, and the door is open.

A cast still being built. Worlds still being made. Sounds still being composed. You’re here before any of it arrives.
